I am a farmer, non-profit consultant, researcher, and mother of one entertaining four-year-old. Email me: ecogroovie at yahoo dot com.
Grew up in suburban Oregon, near small berry farms that eventually were populated by homes and not crops. Went to Colorado State University to study skiing, climbing, and a little bit of everything else about natural resources. Got my B.Sc. in Natural Resources Management/Conservation Biology. Worked on various organic farms around the Northwest and California, then ended up back in school at UC Davis to study agroecology and International Agricultural Development for my Masters. Since then, been working in natural resources management, program management and farming part time with my husband.
gardening, running, dancing, hiking, writing, traveling, botany, thrift store shopping, non-fiction reading, & playing with my 4-year-old
